I take on some of the biggest and most challenging projects of the renovation - building a complete outdoor kitchen from scratch, including a large bread oven and a traditional wood-fired stove. From laying bricks and mixing cement to shaping arches, installing insulation, painting walls, and building the outdoor structure, almost every step is done by hand.

I also build a covered awning so the outdoor kitchen can be used even when it rains, create new flower beds around the courtyard, collect and transport soil, and slowly bring the empty yard back to life with plants and flowers.

Inside the house, I continue transforming the living spaces with a renovated kitchen cabinet, a new desk, DIY wooden furniture, a refreshed bathroom vanity, curtains, lighting, decorative artwork, a new kitchen door, and a cozy living room.

There are also plenty of small DIY projects along the way - from handmade shelves and fabric wall art to shell decorations and a colorful hanging decoration for the loft.

This renovation isn't just about making an old house look beautiful. It's about learning everything from scratch, doing the difficult work myself, saving money wherever possible, and slowly turning an empty countryside house into a peaceful home.

After all the dust, heat, heavy lifting, and countless hours of work, the house is finally beginning to feel like the home I imagined.
