We're back in action and installing our second roof top fan, a MAXXAir 6 inch dome fan, which will be placed above our shower on our Ford Transit 2020 camper van conversion. **(Fan Install starts at 05:30)** Using the lessons we learned from our first van fan install, this project took significantly less time. This is the last major roof hole we will be adding on this van build!

Krysta also removed the factory rubber floor and all of the tie-down points and handles.

Part installed:
Maxxair Dome MaxxFan, 12V

Tools:
-Cordless Drill
-Jigsaw with metal cutting blades
-Miter Saw
-Caulking Gun
-Measuring tape (MVP for this build!!)
-Home made circular cutting guide* (wouldn't use again)

Things that we'd change with this install
1) Brian was really worried about cutting a circular hole in the sheet metal so he made a custom circular cutting guide. It almost worked- but one design flaw resulted in the wrong sized hole. We got lucky, and the hole ended up smaller (you can always cut more, but it is a lot more difficult to add metal.) In the end Brian realized you can easily cut a circular hole using a jigsaw without the help of a tool.
