Maryam Khanum, a woman with a strong will from the mountains, lives with her two daughters, Razieh and Mehrasa, on the harsh slopes of the mountains without shelter. Despite the overwhelming difficulties, Maryam has never given up and is building a hut for her family with a firm determination to protect her daughters from the cold of homelessness.
Today, in order to transport sand and heavy construction materials to the top of the hill, Maryam had to go to the village and find a donkey to transport. In the village, a kind and generous woman gave Maryam her donkey without expecting anything in return. Maryam was deeply happy with this kindness and set off with the donkey loaded with loads towards her place of residence.
On the way back, Maryam was exhausted when she met a young boy. Maryam asked him for help, and the boy, with an open and kind face, rushed to Maryam’s aid without hesitation and accompanied her to the top of the hill.
Maryam Khanum was very tired, but full of peace from this humanitarian aid. She understood that even in the most difficult circumstances, the hidden threads of kindness between people can lighten the heavy burden of life and keep the hope for a better tomorrow alive.
