Put your hard drive into a CDROM / DVD slot or bay. No fabri-cobbling needed. I show you how. Keep in mind these things run at around 7000 rpm and will suck power all the time and produce a lot of heat, that's how you are able to access them at any time because they are always running at that full speed. Also this will put extra strain on your power supply. Make sure to install only what you need. Or disconnect hard drives from power when not in use. If you simply want to run different Operating systems it might be useful to partition a hard drive into multiple partitions. The hard drive i have installed with the IDE cable is just 30gb but has two partitions for dual XP installations. If one XP becomes unusable you still have the 2nd partition. And you have access to the full 30 GB no matter what partition you are running. So its similar to what I'm doing in the video by connecting a 2nd hard drive. ill have access to both drives regardless of what partition or drive I am logged into. Specifically for XP when you install it asks you if you want to partition the drive, so it does everything for you, then before windows starts it will ask you which windows xp installation you want to run and after 30 seconds it picks which ever is first on the list.
