How To Install the Windshield Wiper System on a 1964 Cadillac Eldorado

The windshield wiper system on the 1964 Cadillac Eldorado definitely needed replacing after John noticed an annoying squeak coming from somewhere inside. So, what better solution than to find the culprit and eliminate it by taking a look at the complete system.

In this video, Josh will show you how to install the windshield wiper system on the 1964 Cadillac Eldorado. Taking apart the grille and cowl first to gain access to the linkages, John and Josh will then remove, inspect, and clean them, making sure they are functioning correctly. After that, the wiper motor will be removed and have the seals replaced. After cleaning and lubricating, everything will then be installed back together to eliminate the squeak. Windshield wiper arms and blades will then be installed for the final finish to the complete system.

This was quite the project, but the Eldorado is now fixed and sounds just as quiet as it should, without the horrible squeaking sound.
