The iconic T400 helped Lenovo make the jump from the Txx series developed by IBM to their own line of machines. Granted Lenovo had been building the IBM T line for several years before the T400 and the T61 and T400 share some similarities and parts.

Today, while it might be showing its age, it is a great machine to tinker with and learn about computers.
