Today I build Revell’s 1/144 Airbus A340-300 in Lufthansa colours, taking this classic four-engine airliner from an older kit with plenty of fit issues to a fully painted, decalled and subtly weathered finished model.

Inspired by flying the A340 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, this build covers everything from cockpit detailing and filling the cabin windows to fixing seams, painting the Lufthansa livery, applying Cartograf decals, weathering the engines and wings, and final assembly.

If you’re into airliners, aviation, scale modelling, or just enjoy relaxing model builds, this one’s for you. Let me know in the comments what aircraft you’d like to see me build next!
