ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies is the next narrative RPG from ZA/UM, the creators of Disco Elysium, blending espionage, politics and psychological storytelling together into another strange and fascinating world. In this first impressions and potential Episode 1 of the series, I jump in to see how the writing, roleplaying systems and atmosphere compare to Disco Elysium. While it may not quite hit the same heights immediately, the worldbuilding, art style and dialogue are still incredibly strong and the various emotions and skills influencing conversations make this a really engaging experience so far. Definitely one for fans of narrative RPGs and detective thrillers.
