Episode 54 - We continue exploring Japan discovering the very best of Osaka, Nara, and Himeji in just three unforgettable days! From the city lights to mouthwatering street food to ancient castles and friendly deer, this 72-hour journey captures everything we love about Japan’s Kansai region.
(Day 1) We kick things off in Dotonbori, soaking up the energy of Osaka’s most iconic district before tasting our way through Kuromon Market, famous for its fresh seafood and street snacks. We finish the day discovering the history & beauty of Osaka Castle, one of Japan’s most treasured landmarks.
(Day 2) A short train ride from Osaka takes us to the city of Nara, where we meet the adorable (and cheeky!) deer that freely roam the city parks. We explore the stunning Todai-ji Temple and other cultural gems that make Nara a must-visit spot when in Japan.
(Day 3) Our final stop is the city of Himeji, home to the awe-inspiring Himeji Castle — Japan’s largest and most visited castle. This breathtaking fortress is the perfect finale to our Kansai adventure!
