In this video, we are taking a closer look at the Deathwatch Corvus Blackstar and how to upgrade it with a Stormraven lighting kit, an audio device, as well as magnets to make all the weapons exchangeable. Furthermore, the model also gets a visible pilot that can be seen through the cockpit windows. It is a 3rd party "Sisters of Battle" model that was originally intended to be used with Imperial Knights.
Over the course of the video, I am going through all the assembly steps and extra customization I did for this version of the Deathwatch Corvus Blackstar: Installation of the W40k Stormraven Lighting Kit by JS Miniatures, installation of the audio device, installation of the pilot, where to place magnets and what else to look out for.
Towards the end of the video, I also share my lessons learned and how I would go about building a Corvus Blackstar 2.0 with a few additional improvements.
