Van life for the first time in Japan has been a dream for us. Now, we actually get to experience Van life for the first time, and in Japan no less. Van Life is something we hope will be in our future so on this current trip to Japan we thought we would dip our toe, so to speak and see if Van Life is really as exciting as people say. Is Van Life Over-rated? Thats what we wanted to find out.

Our Van Life travels in Japan begin in Kyushu, the southern island of Japan. Kyushu is the onsen capital of Japan which makes it a Van Life paradise.

In part one of this VanLife Series in Japan, we pick up our camper from Samurai Campers, make our way from Fukuoka to Beppu. We check into a campsite for the evening and we give a full tour of our campervan.
