In this episode, I start off by assembling the top turret gun. I use Tamiya Thin Cement to do this, but if using this method, be careful, as this can fog up the glass. It is a risk to do. I put the mounts onto the window guns and install those into the windows. After those have dried, they will be installed into the aircraft as well. Next, I use a mixture of black oil paints and turpentine as a wash. I create more dirt on the underside of the stabilzers than the rest of the plane. I also create darker areas for oil stains on top of the engines. This is also my first try at this so Im please with the turn out. I get much better at it on the B-25 that you will see in a future series. It is a little dark. I put it on heavy and let it dry. Wipe off with a damp cotton swab of turpentine. Be careful not to take to much of the undercoat off. This can happen depending on what your undercoat is sprayed with. I use Pledge Revive It as an undercoat. Put all the antennas on the plane. One on top and one on the bottom. The rear gun is installed into the back of the aircraft tail. Another sealer coat is applied all over the plane. I use Microscale Krystal Klear to install the all the clear plastic parts. Mine is thick. You will want to thin it down a bit so it flows better. I don't do this in the current video, but adopt that procedure later on for future models. After the bubble glass in the top of the nose is put in place, I install the gun sight. All masking is removed from the aircraft. You will see a good example of what not to do. The liquid mask was not applied evenly enough and I had bleed through from my type of paint I used to do the outside fuselage. This ate the plastic parts and I really couldn't get the paint out. So I left it as is and will do better on the next version of this plane that I do. The front glass is carefully pushed into place and glued down. The top turret is a tight fit. It will need sanding. Testing. Sanding. Repeat until it turns smoothly. Mine doesn't really go smooth, but I got sick of messing with it. Affix all other windows and the rear gunners glass. I press on the wings and do not glue them. This will make for easier transportation if needed. Attach the front glass and remaining windows. Getting everything to line up isn't the easiest for this particular model so work carefully. This will complete the model!
