This is a very well taken 3 owner Beetle (current owner since 1989) that shows pride of ownership. Here are the second owner's notes and comments:

"CA Desert Car Vehicle- Originally delivered to Palm
Springs area so no rust
In original color – Barrier Blue (L52K)
Engine rebuilt by Unique Imports in Mission Viejo, CA
(estimate less than 1,000 miles driven since rebuild)
Original odometer stopped at 47,942.
I’m third owner, Dad (2 nd owner), passed it down to me.
I have owned the vehicle since 1989.
Garaged consistently since 1995 (last 30 years).
No rust- Feel free to inspect
Maintains fuel injection and will pass California smog
